WCAHEAT is the name of our web site. It was named by local high school students who played a key role in the development of the present web site. WCA is the name of this regional hospital. The acronym H.E.A.T. stands for our theme of Help Eliminate Arson Terror. The word "arson" in our title means firesetting behaviors. The word "terror" stands for the feelings connected to fires by people who are the victims of fire. The title chosen by these students captures our goals - to help eliminate the firesetting behaviors of children and teens who set fires for whatever reasons. "Help" means that we are assisting children, teens, families and communities to stop these dangerous acts of firesetting that can kill, seriously injure and traumatize the victims of these fires. The victims can include many people such as the residents of the home, neighbors and fire fighters. "Help Eliminate" also means that we are not the only source of help. We are part of a community of people who are assisting a particular child or teen to stop these feelings and firesetting behaviors.

Many thanks to the students of Maple Grove High School in Bemus Point, Chautauqua County, New York. They worked hard and diligently on this project. It was a job well done!
